Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, congratulated Ana Maria Branza and all the members of the Romanian women`s team foil in fencing for winning the World Cup - Grand Prix at Doha, Qatar. Under the leadership of Ana Maria Branza, the team had spectacularly qualified in the finals, after two victories against Estonia and one against the USA in the semifinals.

The game with China in the finals was equally hard and tense, the last offensive coming from the Romanian team through Ana Maria Branza, who scored decisively and established the final score at 19-18.
